Our heater operates on demand by heating water as it flows through an appliance roughly the size of a phone book. It only uses energy when the hot water outlet is turned on and shuts down immediately when the outlet is turned off.

The Heat Exchanger

Stiebel Eltron tankless water heater products carry the ETL listing, signifying that ETL has determined that this product has met applicable safety requirements (UL499).

All Stiebel Eltron brand tankless water heaters have manual thermostatic controls and automatic thermal protection that enable the user to set the required maximum temperature, thereby eliminating the possibility of scalding that exists with conventional tank water heaters.
